Some of our publications are textbooks which have been/are used in IAP short courses in conservation.

Archetype sponsored Triathlete Marcus Nichols headed to Germany recently to compete in the European Aquathlon Championships taking place in Cologne. This was his first time representing Great Britain, and a very proud moment. He was racing against the best across Europe, and was very happy to finish 8th overall in his Age Group. Chosen from a field of 1500 entries, Archetype author Ad Stijnman and his book Engraving and Etching: a history of the development of manual intaglio printmaking processes (Archetype and Hes de Graaf 2012) were awarded an honourable second place in the Karel van Mander award for the best art historical student dissertations in the Netherlands 2009 - 2013.
